Issue with the oil level sensor, was told at drop off that this is a Fiat wide issue. Perhaps an email out to let everybody know this might have been beneficial. Everything else worked well and the van ran totally fine.

We really liked the car and the service. Which unfortunately was not so good: - The power cable is very short and there is no extension cable. - The hose for filling water is very short and makes it difficult to fill up at many stations! We really liked the car and the service. Which unfortunately was not so good: - The power cable is very short and there is no extension cable. - The hose for filling water is very short and makes it difficult to fill up at many stations! & we are thinking it would be better if the vehicle had a outside showertt ore someting like that, to clean stuff before entering the car.

The bedding could be more comfortable. A suggestion would be a memory foam style mattress or similar. A full gas cylinder was not provided. There was no ladder included for easy access to the pop top bed. Highly recommend this size vehicle for short trips and long weekenders.

Bit of sand in some places of the campervan Whatsapp customer team were amazing. Back Windows were not working properly, so we could not open them well during our trip.

Jimny
All good, only we are not so fan of the mattress. We change it later on for a new one and realise it is the same. We use to self inflatable mattresses from the decatlon that are stronger and so the hips and shoulders don't touch the grond. Also camping chairs could be beter, the tubes came out easily so there where not so easy to move. Tent need to be wax. sometime drips inside. And we really take care of the tent to dry everyday. The rest was super nice. This is just some input like you ask but we had a great time! All good

Thought the entire process was smooth start to finish. Would use indie campers again. Only small issues were that the windscreen washer fluid was empty and there was an incorrect component for the tent.

Trekker
Hi there, the Trekker was good for driving on every type of road, however a dustproof tray and canopy would have been nice. Everything on the tray got dusty. Pretty bad old fashion Ausdie design (made in China) - not acceptable for a holiday car in 2024! 230 V cable for the fridge was missing. The 12 Volt Plug on the fridge didn't work properly while driving. We couldn't really use the fridge at all. The fridge's position on top of the slideouts is really bad. Much too high and you can not open the lid properly. Luckyly the screws of the fridge came off by itselves so we could place the fridge in a better position. Tentplugs, a hammer and ropes for the awning were missing. We couldn't find the cable for the Led-Strip... Didn't even know it was there (we finally found it when dropping of the car). Regarding this the introduction to the car and all techncal things could have been a little bit better. Anyway... We had a great holiday with the car. We might rent it again with a dustproof canopy and a working fridge. Hi there, the Trekker was good for driving on every type of road, however a dustproof tray and canopy would have been nice. I can’t think of any improvements to the entire rental process as we were very happy with the entire process! I was very satisfied with the vehicle we had, we are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 2 1/2 and 10 months) and we had found the van to be very spacious. Would highly recommend!!

Team in Sydney were lovely! However at check in, in Brisbane, we felt a bit differently. I didn’t feel very confident leaving it all felt a bit and a few things were forgotten (grey water pipe) that we had to remind him to give us. We also had to buy a fresh water pipe attachment as that wasn’t provided. Only other issue was the sheets were stained and blood on the mattress. Otherwise we had an amazing experience. Vehicle was great

Better chairs and table for outside use. Perfect camper for 2 persons and 2 kids. Not for 3 or more adults.

Overall a great experience with very friendly employees, would book again with Indie Campers. Some feedback, the van could have been cleaner on the inside and the guidance given by employees sometimes conflicted the info on the website which was confusing, for example the guidance for toll payments. Fiat applause is a great camper, with everything you will need, large but still compact and easy enough to drive.

Jimny
Yeah honestly I had a flawless experience. The Jimny was perfectly suited for a solo traveler. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday! Perfectly suited for a solo traveler. Would be a tight squeeze for two people unless you kept your luggage at home. The awning was super easy to rig together but definitely watch the video first. Goes without saying but it’s a manual so definitely need to know how to drive stick.

Make a phone system that’s easy to call with someone who speaks and understands English more fluently. Also send out reminders regarding return times as it’s easy to get caught up in a foreign place and forget that…….cheers Mark Padbury Go for it. Use Indie Campers

Easier contact of the depot prior to collection as the only number on the website was an international number and I was unable to call from my mobile. Was good being off the ground when camping. Functionality of the vehicle was perfect for our uses. Fridge worked well. Liked the camp package of chairs and table and bedding was great

So overall great experience... We got an upgrade so can't complain at all. Guys in Sydney were great and funny but some information I missed (Adblue refund) also didn't mention broken window back passenger side.. Window fell out when I opened it.. Also couldn't connect to water as adapter missing.. Could only use watertank. Unfortunately also the floor and the oven weren't clean. Otherwise great van and great experience.. Guys in Brisbane were ace too and took on my feedback and checked me out super quick... Apart from some of the above epic experience.. Thanks guys & gals.. The Wisharts So overall great experience... Australie Tips - tell europeans that the roads have holes :-) - attention window cleaning + fill the spray! - full gas and ask or tell or show how the gas is working (european systems are diffrent), we have seen 11 gasstations before we find one! That gave stress. - waterhose, there was no nippel to put on the tap! - In basic interieur a hose for the grey water, so it can straigt into the dump. - in the basic a sisser and a small knife for fruit ore something. - invest in some better mugs and plates, perhaps also plastic glasses for sodas and beers. - and a muscito/fly curtain in the big door! Weve enjoyd sleeping on the top, that system is perfect! Travelling with the apllause was so much fun! With regards Ad and Sabine Starreveld See up

Dear Indie team, we had an excellent trip and the campervan was first class. But invest maybe 15 minutes more on site and go through the features with the customers so that 1. everything can be used and 2. above all, this is done correctly by the renter. Many people are having this experience for the first time. I would definitely recommend Indie, the campervan was first class and the equipment was fully comprehensive. I would be happy to go back!

We would have liked a little more information upon picking up the van. Didn’t do some of the checks or assistance that we would have expected. But overall good experience. The team member who we dropped the van off too was outstanding! He was really helpful and asked about any issues and answered any questions we had! He even went the extra mile and helped us drop our bags off (which was just round the corner). Cannot recommend enough.
